SACRED PARIS SEEKERS EXPERIENCE: Night of Adoration at Sacré Cœur
NIGHT OF ADORATION: Perpetual Prayer Experience
Participate in one of the most sacred experiences in Paris, as you take your place in the prayer chain which began on August 1, 1885. The “Night of Adoration,” is a perpetual prayer experience where you will add your personal prayer to this 135-year ritual.
We will gather on ZOOM virtually before this event, to connect and prepare.
We will gather as a group (at Sacré Cœur ) before we begin at 8:30pm to set intentions together.
We will check into our single rooms between 8:30-9pm and choose our one-hour prayer time which happens between 11pm and 7am.
We will participate as a group in the “Spiritual Introduction” provided by Sacré Cœur clergy from 9:30-10pm.
We will attend the private Mass from 10pm until 11pm.
We will make our way to our single rooms for the night at 11pm, you will be given private access to the sanctuary for your one hour of solo prayer time. You will participate in your sacred moment.
We will gather for breakfast between 7:30am and 8:30am for sharing and closing circle.
We will gather on ZOOM virtually after this event for deeper sharing and integration one month after our experience.
THINGS TO NOTE:
This experience is open to ALL SEEKERS of various faiths, and spiritual believers.
This experience is for women.
The accommodations in the hotel adjacent to Sacré Cœur are modest, this experience calls on your desire to sit in stillness with very little distraction and an absolute appreciation for the sacred in simplicity. Please pack light and practical.
We will follow the rules and expectations of the staff at Sacré Cœur.
